Preparing your product for service
All devices will need to be placed in repair state. Ensure you know your Apple ID password so that the deice can be put into repair state.
To place your device in repair state, open the Find My app, select your device, and tap "Remove This Device," then follow the prompt to activate repair state. This allows repair without disabling Activation Lock.
